NEWaukee is a brand engagement agency that helps businesses and organizations find innovative ways to engage their audiences. Our clients range from local favorites to nationally recognized brands, and we’re known for bringing high energy, fresh ideas, and real results to everything we touch.

We’re seeking a full-time Graphic Designer who will create high-quality graphics for NEWaukee and its clients. You will work closely with the Creative Services and Events teams to develop work that is creative, clear and consistent with brand guidelines.

What You’ll Do

  • Interpret and transform information into dynamic visuals to meet project goals.

  • Create, edit, optimize, format and export work for both print materials and digital graphics. This includes but is not limited to: including brochures, posters, flyers, billboards, social media graphics, website visuals, and digital advertisements.

  • Develop and maintain templates and design systems to ensure consistency across all marketing materials.

  • Adopt and follow brand guidelines.

  • Organize and share project files.

Must Haves

  • 2–5 years of professional Graphic Design experience

  • Portfolio that displays strong design, typography and illustration skills.

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

  • Experience with Canva.

  • Ability to work quickly and accurately, take direction, and implement feedback.

  • Solid tech skills, especially in Google Suite and Dropbox.

  • A modern aesthetic and appreciation for branding.

  • Must be based in the Milwaukee, WI area. (Hybrid role – office on Thursdays + client meetings/events).

Nice to Haves

  • Web design or UI/UX experience

  • Illustration and/or motion graphics skills
