Position Summary

NEWaukee is seeking a driven and personable Growth & Partnerships Specialist to join our expanding team. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will support top-of-funnel sales efforts, relationship management, and strategic growth initiatives. Ideal candidates are early-career professionals with a strong interest in sales, community engagement, and brand experience, who thrive in a creative, mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Pipeline Development

  • Identify and research prospective clients, partners, and referral sources that align with NEWaukee’s service offerings.

  • Maintain and grow a robust CRM database with qualified leads and opportunities.

  • Assist in outreach campaigns via email, LinkedIn, and events to build relationships and generate interest.

Proposal & Presentation Support

  • Collaborate with the CEO and marketing team to draft custom proposals, pitch decks, and capabilities presentations.

  • Track proposal success metrics and iterate based on outcomes.

Client & Relationship Management

  • Support the CEO in managing follow-ups, meeting prep, and relationship tracking for key client prospects.

  • Represent NEWaukee at client events, networking events, conferences, or client meetings as needed.

Sales Operations & Reporting

  • Assist in organizing and optimizing business development tools, tracking systems, and reporting processes.

  • Monitor progress against sales goals and provide regular updates to the CEO.

Market Research & Insights

  • Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activity, and potential client needs.

  • Surface new sectors or regions for business expansion.

Ideal Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in business development, sales, marketing, or a related field (agency or service-based business experience is a plus).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to craft compelling messaging.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organization and follow-through.

  • Proficient in CRM platforms (Copper) and tools like Google Workspace, etc.

  • Energetic, curious, and confident in reaching out to new people and building relationships.

  • A passion for creative experiences, storytelling, and community impact.
