What the Street Team Does

Assist with live event productions including but not limited to - 

  • Event set up

  • Helping with vendor, partner, musician, etc. load in

  • Coordinating volunteers

  • Supporting on site attendee check in or registration 

  • Facilitating activities during event (crafts, food and beverage tables, etc.)

  • Event tear down

  • Reporting to event lead on site

Assist with pre event marketing efforts including but not limited to - 

  • In person community and business outreach

  • Marketing material distribution 

What We’re Looking For

  • Over 18 years old

  • Nights and weekends availability 

  • Access to a vehicle to travel to and from events

  • Ability to lift and carry 40 pounds

  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods

  • Ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions

  • Ability to engage with attendees and represent NEWaukee and our clients in a fun, friendly, professional manner

  • Prior event, promotions, or customer service experience (preferred, not required)

  • Ability to travel outside of Milwaukee (preferred, not required)


Compensation

  • $20/hour 

  • Event-based schedule with the opportunity for up to 20 hours a week

  • Gas stipend if traveling outside of Milwaukee for event
