What the Street Team Does
Assist with live event productions including but not limited to -
Event set up
Helping with vendor, partner, musician, etc. load in
Coordinating volunteers
Supporting on site attendee check in or registration
Facilitating activities during event (crafts, food and beverage tables, etc.)
Event tear down
Reporting to event lead on site
Assist with pre event marketing efforts including but not limited to -
In person community and business outreach
Marketing material distribution
What We’re Looking For
Over 18 years old
Nights and weekends availability
Access to a vehicle to travel to and from events
Ability to lift and carry 40 pounds
Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
Ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions
Ability to engage with attendees and represent NEWaukee and our clients in a fun, friendly, professional manner
Prior event, promotions, or customer service experience (preferred, not required)
Ability to travel outside of Milwaukee (preferred, not required)
Compensation
$20/hour
Event-based schedule with the opportunity for up to 20 hours a week
Gas stipend if traveling outside of Milwaukee for event
