Digital & Social Media Specialist

We’re seeking a Digital & Social Media Specialist who will own content creation, campaign execution, and performance tracking across digital channels. This role is both creative and tactical. You’ll lead the creation of social strategies, write compelling copy, and execute campaigns across social, email, and web.
What You’ll Do
Develop and execute social media strategies (organic + paid) that align with client goals.
Plan, create, and schedule content across multiple platforms, ensuring brand voice and visual consistency.
Write compelling copy for digital campaigns (social, email, web) and print assets (ads, flyers, event collateral).
Support email and SMS campaign execution from concept through reporting.
Manage content calendars, scheduling documents, and asset trackers to keep campaigns organized.
Track performance of campaigns, provide insights, and recommend optimizations.
Stay on top of trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to keep work fresh and relevant.
Support the creation of social media assets (design, photos, short-form video content).
Track hours and maintain accurate documentation across projects.
Support client activations and events on-site (some nights/weekends required; some travel required; schedules shared in advance).

What You’ll Need
1–3 years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong focus on social media and content creation.
Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone and style for different platforms.
Strong experience with Meta Business Suite and Meta Advertising
Strong experience with Mailchimp and similar tools
Strong experience with Wordpress, Squarespace and similar tools
Familiarity with Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, and Google Analytics
Familiarity with other social media advertising platforms (e.g. Linkedin Ads)
Comfortable juggling multiple campaigns and deadlines.
Creative, curious, and collaborative mindset.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability and excitement to work at dynamic live events (occasional nights/weekends).
Must be based in the Milwaukee, WI area. (Hybrid role – office on Thursdays + client meetings/events).
