At NEWaukee, we’re always looking at the NEW trends happening in event design, marketing, and community engagement. Our incredible creative internal team is constantly brainstorming fresh, innovative ideas that we want to bring to life for brands.

That’s why we’re excited to share our second iteration of the Parking Lot – our designated space that houses all the interesting concepts that we really want to build (with the right partner!) or have done in the past that need a new home.

NEWaukee Parking Lot:

  • Airplane Mode – A transformative offline experience focused on wellness and connection where participants disconnect from their devices and immerse themselves in meaningful interactions, rejuvenating activities, and guided mindfulness sessions.

  • Belonging Project (with Bartolotta & Associates and Rivet) – A flexible training program for busy teams that pairs tactical training on topics like psychological safety in the workplace with accountability partners for further reflection.

  • Camp Dream – A week-long program for community, educational, and career access for high school seniors that showcases career pathways that are important to specific local ecosystems.

  • The Dance-K – A whimsical 5K non-profit fundraiser that features pop-up dance and music performances along the route, culminating in a family-friendly festival at the end of the route.

  • [NEW!] The Digging – A “rock-and-roll”-style outdoor market of cassettes, CDs, and vinyls, as well as other music-related gear, with live music performances throughout the sale.

  • Dry Labs – A series of sober-forward experiences to enhance fun without drinking, including events like a “(No) Booze Cruise” and speakeasy “Secret Sober Socials.”

  • [NEW!] EBM: Electronic Brunch Music – A Sunday morning rave music series featuring delicious brunch vendors and EDM DJs. Guests kick off their Sunday off right with an all-out dance party.

  • Failure Fest – An unconventional take on a professional conference featuring the untold stories of failure along the struggle for success. Sessions highlight the speakers’ biggest mistakes and what lessons they learned from them.

  • [NEW!] Fort Fest – A nostalgic fort-building competition at night with additional family-friendly activities such as movie screenings, fire pits with s’mores making, and live fire dance performances.

  • [NEW!] Neon Parade – A parade at night featuring fun light shows, glow-in-the-dark floats and riders, and neon attire.

  • [NEW!] Play Date – A community dedicated to creating memorable activities, immersive experiences, and custom events that foster family-friendly environments where parents can meet, connect, and build strong bonds. From interactive workshops and themed playdates to outdoor adventures and educational outings, Play Date would provide a diverse array of experiences designed to bring families together in a fun and inclusive setting.

  • Tour de Cheese – A family-friendly bike race event and festival that highlights Wisconsin’s unique culture. Activities related to our love of cheese, brats, and beer will take place along the bike route, including cheese sculpture, brat-eating contests, beer tastings, and more.

  • [NEW!] The Weekender – A non-traditional approach to marketing a particular community by providing a free weekend-long group experience to people from outside the region. Built for groups of at least 25, experiences could be curated based on the unique interests and nature of the group participating.

  • Wellness Wonderland – An outdoor healthy lifestyle festival spotlighting wellness activities, plant-based food vendors, non-alcoholic beverages, forest bathing, group yoga, and more.

  • [NEW!] Wisconsin’s First 24-Hour Music Festival – A new, experimental music festival with live performances, interactive sound installations, and DJ sets happening all day and night-long.
