The Grain Exchange
An intimate gathering of thinkers, creators, and change-makers around enlightening conversation. The Exchange is designed to encourage an honest and open expression around things that matter to you and your community – business cards and pre-conceived notions aren’t recommended.
Each Exchange experience will pop up in a new location, feature unique talking points, and spotlight a different industry. There will be a few distinguished politicians, a special host to deliver the topic, and open ended questions to prompt stimulating dialogue.
The theme of our first Exchange is politics. Guests will receive a 3 course meal provided by Bartolotta Catering. With each course, a new question will be posed to guests.
We invite friends, strangers, introverts, extroverts. All ages, orientations, experience levels, & backgrounds are valued and above all, celebrated!

National Issue: How does immigration, and the national immigration debate, affect your day-to-day life?
Statewide Issue: How does Wisconsin’s talent shortage impact you and your company, and how should we address it as a community?
City Issue: In response to recent news about the Mitchell Park Domes and plans for a new convention center downtown, how do you think we should be funding our local cultural assets?
YPWeek is a week long platform for discovery, adventure and meaningful conversations about the issues that matter among young professionals. This interactive conference brings together key leaders in the community, at purposefully chosen locations that integrate the unique cultural assets with meaningful learning or social interaction. The activities engage the next generation in experiences that are important to you as a YP while educating your employers on the important role these functions play in retaining you as their workforce.
