Every gallery night, NEWaukee takes you on a tour of multiple galleries and locations. But the galleries are only part of the journey. On the ART Bus, you will find a live local singer songwriter, wine and beer, and a great way to meet new people all for $25 per person. Whether you’re an art novice, expert, or anywhere in between, the ART Bus is a great way to explore Milwaukee’s spectacular art scene both on and off the bus!

The Story of a Neighborhood
“The Story of a Neighborhood” is a visual exploration of Milwaukee’s Near West Side: seven unique neighborhoods with a rich past and an optimistic future, and home to the Ambassador Hotel and Tower Theater. Featuring images from the 1920s to the present, the exhibition shows the rise, decline and revival of the area. The exhibition will feature renderings, plans and photos that highlight the rich past and the current rehabilitation that the area is experiencing.

On the Nature of Wisconsin
Featuring work from the permanent collection, “On the Nature of Wisconsin” is a celebration of Wisconsin artists and their relationship with the natural world. A state known for its fresh water, forests, and parks, this exhibition examines the connections artists have made and observed with these surroundings. Works included depict sweeping landscapes, quiet farm life, reimagined plants and animals, and objects exemplifying natural forms.
