NEWaukee’s Intern Offering Program
Did you know that workplace loneliness impacts 61% of employees? Lonely employees are twice as likely to quit and experience a 45% decrease in overall performance. Don’t underestimate the importance of friendships at work!
Engaging interns and making them excited about your workplace, especially as companies continue to adjust to hybrid and remote cultures, can present a challenge.
Actively encourage connections within your team through NEWaukee’s new intern service package, which includes a Networking 101 Workshop and Like|Minded Intern Matching for all program members.
This unique intern offering combines professional development, interactive networking, and facilitated connection.
In a time when the intern experience might look very different than it would have pre-pandemic, NEWaukee offers a way for interns to still get the benefits of connection that they would have received in past years.
What’s included:
- 90-Minute Networking 101 Workshop
- 3 Month Subscription to Like|Minded Platform
Networking 101
NEWaukee’s Networking 101 Workshop is an introductory crash-course on networking that is specifically geared towards interns and early career professionals. This workshop will cover:
Why fostering personal & professional connections matters
- Understanding personality traits
- The science of building trust
- …and more!
Following the presentation, participants practice these concepts in an interactive and rapid-fire networking session with a series of prompts that focus on forging meaningful relationships.
Like|Minded Subscription
Like|Minded is a digital platform that fosters human connection by using an intelligent matching algorithm to link people in communities and organizations by suggesting strong human connection points based on the psychology and neuroscience of friendship.
Interns will get access to the Like|Minded platform, where they will take a short onboarding assessment that will help generate their friendship archetype and identify their relationship types (kindred, activity, business, and growth), as well as connect them to compatible individuals in the program.
NEWaukee’s goal is to offer an immersive and productive experience for organizations who want to provide their interns with highly beneficial networking and connection opportunities. Contact angela@newaukee.com to learn more!
