Baird established an Associate Resource Group program with seven distinct offerings. NEWaukee was approached to build upon the current program by developing a comprehensive talent development strategy that would ensure a workforce pipeline for years to come, focusing on leadership development, member and volunteer engagement, and strategic alignment to core BAIRD I&D firmwide goals.
After multiple meetings with BAIRD leadership, we decided to create a custom annual leadership summit for ARG co-chairs and their executive sponsors to have a chance to learn best practices together in both the I&D space as well as through experience design, and set new goals and strategic plans for the upcoming year.
Through a full day immersive and interactive experience at a dynamic off-site location, attendees participated in multiple interactive team building activities that forged new relationships and candor between ARG leadership teams. Fast-paced and hands-on workshops allowed for shared learning and action planning with custom worksheets and resource guides with best practices for ARGs. To accommodate those working from home, NEWaukee was able to create a virtual experience for the 2020 summit.
Over three years, NEWaukee was able to recommend structural organization realignments to make the Associate Resource Group program more effective, inclusive and connected to the company’s firmwide I&D goals.
